KJ Trucking Company is a Pueblo Colorado based trucking company that aims to be one of the fastest growing trucking companies in the USA. KJT’s moto is ” Appropriez-vous la nuit – On Time Every Time” and pride itself on doing just that. Our goal is to provide our customers with the safest and the utmost qualified customer service, the utmost skilled professional and knowledgeable drivers within the industry. KJT’s mission will be to corner the AA&E market with running lanes from east to west coast within the safest and timeliest manner possible. To complete this mission our focus will be to employ family and veterans due to their focus, bond, and drive of mission; Family and Veterans are the most important aspect of the business to the President of KJT. Mr. Newsom’s brotherhood of serving and patriotism is the driving force in this direction.

Services
KJ Trucking offer’s both for-hire trucking as well as private carriers in the industry of team and solo driving. Most of our business will be derived from the private carriers. For the private carrier segment, both truck load (TL) and less than truck load (LTL) will be offered. KJ Trucking services will especially be attractive to the Reefer industry, as participants in that industry will typically use dry vans, reputation, and customer service as purchasing variables.
Customer Segments
KJ Trucking will serve four different market segments. The first, as mentioned earlier is the food and beverage industry. This segment is growing at an annual rate of 5.7%, reaching $60.9 billion in 2021. The second segment is the computer industry with a 9.19 % growth rate with a 20.85% growth rate in the next 2 years. The retail industry is the third with a 1.37% growth rate with a 3.89% growth rate over the next 2 years. The last segment is Aerospace/Defense with a growth rate of 10.98% with a growth rate over the next 2 years of 8.81% with a transportations customer base of less than 1000 active company’s.
Management
KJ Trucking Company President and Chief Executive Officer is Kent L Newsom, a 26 years industry veteran. After college and becoming a senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the Army, Kent went to work for Reynolds & Reynolds, May Trucking, Transco Lines Inc., and United Parcel Service (UPS) as a driver for more than eight years. Kent felt that it was instrumental to have experience within an industry at all levels. It was quickly obvious that Kent has skills beyond driving trucks and moved into management for three years.
